VestaPilot collects nothing about you, because there is nowhere for it to go. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no server of ours anywhere. This page is short because there is very little to say, and that is the point.
If you turn on Wake at exact times in the Autopilot tab, a small service run by us sends your phone a silent nudge at the minutes you choose, so the app can decide whether to post. It is the one part of VestaPilot with a server in it, and it is built to know as little as possible: an anonymous device token issued by Apple, your timezone, and the list of minutes. It never receives your calendar, your contacts, your location, your Read/Write key, or anything you post - the nudge carries no content, and everything is decided on the phone. Turn the feature off and the registration is deleted. Tokens Apple reports as expired are deleted automatically.
One thing: the finished message, sent directly from your phone to
Vestaboard's Read/Write API using your own key. That is a message like
SOCCER PICKUP 4:15 - the text your board displays, nothing else. Not the calendar
entry it came from, not your location, not an identifier for you.
Optionally, if you enable the weather line, an approximate location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit service to retrieve a forecast. Apple's privacy policy governs that request.
Nothing. We operate no servers for this app and have no ability to see your board, your messages, your key, or whether you use the app at all. App Store download and subscription figures come to us from Apple in aggregate, as they do for every app.
VestaPilot is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy ever changes, the updated date above changes with it. A change that made the app collect anything would be announced in the app before it took effect.
